LADBROKES DONATE 1,800 GBP TO JESSIE MAY

Players Championship title sponsor Ladbrokes will make a fantastic donation of £1,800 to Jessie May Children's Hospice at Home thanks to the century breaks made during last week's tournament.

Ladbrokes pledged to donate £100 for every ton made during the seven days in Llandudno, and there were 18 made. Judd Trump was the heaviest scorer with seven centuries, including four in the final as he beat Marco Fu 10-8.

Jessie May Children's Hospice at Home, based in Bristol, has become World Snooker's official charity partner for the 2016/17 season. Jessie May provides a hospice at home service for terminally ill children, offering care to families in the Bristol area.

Ladbrokes also donated £2,500 after the World Grand Prix, bringing the total amount this season to £4,300.Lindsey Horton, Corporate Partnerships Officer for Jessie May, said: ''Thank you so much to Ladbrokes for their incredibly generous donation, and a special thank you to our ambassador, Judd Trump for contributing seven centuries to the total!'' Adrian Osman from the Ladbrokes Coral Group said: '' As the centuries keep rolling in, we are delighted to be able to continue to support the Jessie May Children's Hospice at Home, with a further £1,800 donation.''
