World of Pools Championship 2011
The German duo of Ralf Souquet and ThorsetenHohmann, who were playing superbly throughout the tournament, finally clinched their first World of Pools Championship in 2011, defeating surprise finalist fromThailand by the score of 10-4. They would become the first European team to win the World Cup of Pool. They earned the winner's cheque of 60,000 USD and Thailand team got 30,000 USD.
