Aditya wins heart even after losing his match against Joe Perry

In a match of fluctuating fortune Indian Star Aditya Mehta loses his round of 32 match against 11th ranked Joe Perry by 6-3 in International Championship at Baihu Media Broadcasting Center, Daqing, China.
RKG Snooker sponsored Aditya lost the first frame by 0-67 but came back strongly to win the second frame by 66-21. Aditya continued his good form by taking the third frame by 64-34 and leads the match by 2-1 frames. “The Gentleman” came out aggressively in the fourth round and compiled a superb century break to take the fourth frame by 101-0 and level the frame score at 2-2.
In their only previous meeting Aditya came out winner in the quarter final match of World Games 2013 in Cali, Columbia by 3-2. Aditya then goes on to win the gold medal in the event beating Liang Wenbo of China by 3-0 in the final to be the only Gold Medal winner in those games from India in fact he was the only Indian to win the Medal in World Games 2013.
Aditya showing glimpses of his terrific form, seen against the match with Ryan Day yesterday, compiled a sensational century of 105 in the fifth frame to take the lead once again by 3-2 and keep the Indian hopes alive.
Joe claimed the sixth frame by 68-26 to level the match at 3-3. Till that time both the players were giving punch and counter punch to each other but after the sixth frame Joe raised the bar of the game and compiled his third century break of the tournament and second of the match to take the seventh frame by 136-0 and also the momentum in his favour.
Perry took the eighth frame by 81-2 and in the ninth frame both players fought hard but Joe took it by 76-38 to win the keenly contested match.
Joe Perry will next meet Neil Robertson in Pre Quarter Final Match on 26.10.2016 at 5.00 pm IST for a place in Quarter Final.
Aditya will play his next match in first round of Northern Ireland Open 2016 in Belfest, Northern Ireland on 14.11.2016.
