Amee Kamani earns Bronze medal at World Women Snooker 2018
Current Asian Women Snooker Champion, Amee Kamani settled for the Bronze medal at the World Women Snooker Championship 2018 after losing to champion of the tournament Waratthanun Sukritthanes of Thailand 2-4.
Amee had much stronger approach over the match and accordingly she gave a good start to by showing clear potting skills, she took away the first frame having score 62 against 52 but lost the next to Waratthanun 53-73.
In third frame, Amee made returned with a frame-finish break of 50 points to earn lead again but Waratthanun made it 2-all.
In fifth frame Amee had chance to lead but couple of unforced errors allowed Waratthanun to snatch that frame and lead 3-2.
By then Amee already shattered and Waratthanun taken over the command to close the proceedings 4-2.
This was the only medal India got out of 14 players contingent who represented in three categories of World Snooker i.e. four in Men, 7 in Women and 3 in Masters.
