CHINA CHAMPIONSHIP DATE CHANGE

Following consultation with the promoter, World Snooker has agreed to move the dates of the 2017 China Championship forward by three days.
The new dates for the world ranking tournament are Wednesday August 16 to Tuesday August 22.
The China Championship has become a ranking event for the first time this season, with total prize money of £700,000 and a top prize of £150,000 – the biggest ever for a ranking tournament staged outside the UK.
The qualifying round runs from June 3 to 6 at the Guild Hall in Preston.
