On Day-8, April 22 Ding Junhui made through to the quarter-finals of the 2017 World Championship after prevailing a narrow 13-12 winner against Liang Wenbo in a Crucible classic, while John Higgins joined him in the Last Eight after seeing off Mark Allen 13-9 on Saturday.
