On Day-3, April 17^th Marco Fu produced a remarkable turnaround from 7-1 down to snatch a dramatic 10-9 victory over Luca Brecel and progress to Round Two of the 2017 World Championship on Monday, while Shaun Murphy saw off Chinese prodigy Yan Bingtao at The Crucible by defeating him 10-8.

Elsewhere, Stuart Bingham won with a flattering 10-5 scoreline against Peter Ebdon.
