Junior Snooker Championship 2017 in Pune, Maharshtra

Odisha player Ashutosh Padhy has become the 2017 National Junior Champion after winning all three round-robin matches of Top-4 cueists at PYC Hindu Gymkhana, Pune.
After winning knockout rounds, Ashutosh alongwith Maharashtrian player Sparsh Pherwani, Mohammed Hussain Khan and Hritik Jain of Maharashtra reached the top-four round robin league of National Junior Snooker where first match of Ashutosh was against Hritik Jain, which he secured by winning the decider frame. After that he registered win against Sparsh Pherwani by 3-1.
On the other side, Mohammed Hussain Khan also secured two wins by defeating Hritik Jain 3-2 and Sparsh Pherwani 3-0.
The last match between Ashutosh and Hussain was set to chose the 2017 champion where Ashutosh did not give any chance and won all three to defeat Mohammed Hussain 3-nil and won his second National Junior Snooker title after 2014 Lucknow Nationals.
Hussain Khan stayed No.2 by winning two matches and for No.3 position, Hritik Jain defeated Sparsh Pherwani 3-1
