Preview: Day-6 World Championship Qualifying

Michael White completed a 10-4 defeat of Ross Muir to clinch his Judgement Day place at Betfred World Championship Qualifying.
The 25-year-old has had a mixed season, but looks to be finding his form having gone on an impressive run to the last 16 of the recent China Open. White's no stranger to success in Sheffield, he made the quarter-final stage on his Crucible debut in 2013.
The Welsh potter made breaks of 144, 97 and 104 during the win and will now face Gary Wilson for a spot at the Crucible.
Ben Woollaston achieved a victory of 10-4 over the Irish player Ken Doherty.
Thus the Irishman has dropped off the Main Tour after a 10-4 defeat to Ben Woollaston at the penultimate stage of World Championship qualifying on Monday.
Doherty wasn't the only veteran competitor to lose his tour card on day six, as Northern Irishman Joe Swail was also defeated at the hands of Luca Brecel by 10-8.
However, another Irish stalwart Fergal O'Brien prevailed in winning 10-9 encounter against Tian Pengfei .
O'Brien, who will play David Gilbert at the final hurdle, hasn’t featured in a World Championship since 2010.
Meanwhile, Mark Williams fought from 8-6 down to deny Liam Highfield in a decider to move to within one win of a place in Thursday's last 32 draw.
2006 world champion Graeme Dott and fellow Scot Stephen Maguire also advanced with heavy victories over Dechawat Poomjaeng 10-4 and Nigel Bond 10-3 respectively.
Elsewhere, Reanne Evans was unable to follow up from her headline grabbing first round triumph over Robin Hull . Lee Walker held off a valiant fightback from Reanne Evans to win 10-6 and reach the final round of Betfred World Championship Qualifying.
Last year's semi-finalist Alan McManus was also defeated in a slow-paced 10-5 by Rod Lawler.
Iranian Hossein Vafaei Ayouri produced some excellent snooker in beating Matthew Selt by 10-6 , increasing the possibility of a number of different nationalities qualifying for the main event this year - with Chinese, Thai, Belgian, and Swiss players all in contention on Judgement Day as well.
Ranking event winners Michael White and Mark King both advanced comfortably, with Mark king gaining victory over Fang Xiongman 10-4 but German Masters champion Anthony Hamilton, reportedly struggling with a recurring back injury, was denied in a deciding frame thriller with Noppon Saengkham who beat the German Masters Champion by 10-9.
Among the others to book their spots in the final two days of action were Tom Ford, Jimmy Robertson, David Grace, Rory McLeod, and Chinese duo Xiao Guodong and Li Hang.
Tom Ford beat Chris Wakelin 10-6 whereas Jimmy Robertson gained victory over Oliver Lines 10-4.
David Grace defeated defeated Mark Joyce 10-6 , On the other hand Rory McLeod succeded in gaining victory over Sydney Wilson by 10-7.
The Chinese duo Xiao Guodong and Li Hang beat Sam Baird 10-4 and Mike Dunn 10-4 respectively .
