SAENGKHAM MAKES CARDIFF 147
Thailand’s Noppon Saengkham made the second 147 break of the 2019 ManBetX Welsh Open on day four at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena.
The maximum break came in the second frame of his last 32 clash with world number one Mark Selby. It follows Neil Robertson’s effort earlier in the week during his 4-1 first round win over Jordan Brown.
Australia’s Robertson had been in line to pocket a £17,000 pay out for his break. However, following Saengkham’s stunning contribution, the pair are now set to share the prize with £8,500 each.
The break is the 8th maximum Welsh Open history and the 149th officially recognized 147.
