SELBY AND MURPHY THROUGH TO YUSHAN

All seven players ranked among the top 16 won their Yushan World Open qualifying matches over the first two days of action at the Barnsley Metrodome on Wednesday and Thursday.
The qualifiers finish on Saturday with the winners to go through to Yushan in China for the world ranking event which runs from October 28 to November 3.
China Championship winner Shaun Murphy kept his hot streak going as he hammered Rod Lawler 5-1 with top runs of 77, 57 and 56.
Three-time World Champion Mark Selby saw off Jamie Clarke 5-2 with top breaks of 80, 56, 71 and 122.
Lisowski set a high target for the £6,000 high break prize
Jack Lisowski started slowly against Tian Pengfei, losing the first three frames, but then reeled off five in a row to win 5-3, making a 145 which is the highest break of the event so far.
Kyren Wilson showed his break-building class in a 5-3 win over Chen Feilong, knocking in 84, 136, 52, 73, 66 and 54.
Stuart Bingham white-washed Alex Borg 5-0, Barry Hawkins made a 108 in a 5-1 win over Jak Jones and Joe Perry top-scored with 133 in a 5-2 defeat of Peifan Lei.
In a match featuring two players with a combined age of 105, Anthony Hamilton saw off Jimmy White 5-3 with a top break of 102.
China’s Me Xiwen top-scored with 136 in a surprise 5-2 win over Crucible semi-finalist Gary Wilson.
