Top snooker players come to Bucharest for March event
Mark Selby, Judd Trump and Neil Robertson are among the top players heading to Bucharest next month for the Romanian Snooker Masters.
The invitation event brings many of snooker’s elite to Romania from March 14-18 at the Bucharest Metropolitan Circus.
Sanctioned by World Snooker, the tournament will be organised by McCann Bucharest and McCann/Thiess Events and will feature 13 of the world’s top 16.
The tournament will have total prize money of 200,000 Euros with the winner to receive 50,000 Euros.

The first two rounds, scheduled from Wednesday to Friday – March 14-16, are played over 7 frames. The semi-finals will be held on Saturday – March 17, best of 9 frames, while the Sunday final – March 18, will be played in two sessions with a maximum of 19 frames.
In 2016, Bucharest staged the European Masters with a memorable final between Judd Trump and Ronnie O’Sullivan, won by Trump 9-8.
