WILSON QUALIFIES FOR GUANGZHOU

Kyren Wilson secured his place in the final stages of the China Championship with a 5-1 defeat of Jamie Clarke at qualifying in Barnsley.
The Warrior produced a decisive burst with the scores at 1-1. He stormed to four consecutive frames with breaks of 96, 79 and 108 to emerge with his 5-1 win.
Hong Kong’s three-time ranking event winner Marco Fu edged out James Cahill 5-4 to secure his qualification. Fu showed his class in the deciding frame, making a century break of 107 to seal the victory.
World number 11 Jack Lisowski wasted no time booking his trip to China as he blitzed to a 5-0 win over Oliver Lines. Lisowski fired in breaks of 77, 56, 65, 67 and 50 on his way to the win.
Anthony McGill eased to a 5-1 win over Chen Zifan. While Tian Pengfei defeated Alan McManus 5-4 in a tightly contested encounter.
