Wilson wins by six nil.
Masters runner-up Kyren Wilson thrashed Li Yuan 6-0 in the qualifying round of the China Open on Tuesday.
Wilson missed out on a first Triple Crown title when he lost 10-7 to Mark Allen in the Masters final earlier this month. But he bounced back with a fine display against Li, knocking in top breaks of 83, 83, 101 and 52. He goes through to Beijing in April to compete for a total prize fund of £1 million.
Former China Open champion Stephen Maguire beat James Wattana 6-3 with a top break of 115.
Sam Baird came from 4-3 down to edge out Iran’s Soheil Vahedi 6-5, while Kurt Maflin recovered a 5-3 deficit to beat Ashley Hugill 6-5, making a 66 in the deciding frame.
