MANBETX WELSH OPEN
The Welsh Open will run from February 11 to 17. It is snooker’s longest running world ranking event – other than the World and UK Championships – having been ever present on the calendar since 1992. There will be 128 of the world’s leading players at the Motorpoint Arena, battling for the famous Ray Reardon Trophy.
Last year’s exciting final saw John Higgins beat Barry Hawkins 9-7 to win the title for a record fifth time. Also among the field were the likes of Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, John Higgins, Mark Selby and home favourite Mark Williams.
All-day tickets for the showpiece final on Sunday February 17 are available for £55, and there’s also an Event Pass available which gives access to every session of the whole tournament for just £160!
Televised by Eurosport and Quest, the Welsh Open is the last of the 2018/19 season’s Home Nations events, with the others in England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Once again there will be a £1 million bonus on offer to any player who can win all four Home Nations events.
