PAUL HUNTER CLASSIC

Barry Hawkins won the Paul Hunter Classic for the first time in 2019, beating Kyren Wilson 4-3 in the final in Fürth near Nuremburg in Germany.

The 2018 Paul Hunter Classic was won by Kyren Wilson, beating Peter Ebdon 4-2 in the final.

Michael White won the title in 2017, beating Shaun Murphy 4-2 in the final.

The Paul Hunter Classic, named after three-time Masters champion Hunter who died in 2006, started off as a pro-am in 2004 and became a European Tour event in 2010 and then a full world ranking event, before becoming an invitation event in 2019. Snooker has a growing following in Germany and fans come to Fürth from around the country to enjoy watching their heroes.
