The seasoned right handed Cueist was born on 05th October’1968 in Mandi Govind Garh in Punjab. Alok started playing cue sports in his early age. He won his first National Snooker title at the age of 24 in 1992. Alok won 5 National Snooker titles in 1992, 1999, 2004, 2005 & 2007 and 6 National Billiards titles in 1999, 2001, 2003 , 2004, 2010 & 2013.
Alok also won 9 ball Nationals Pool Championship in the year 2002 and 2011.
After winning the 8 ball Pool Nationals in 2011 he became the first player to achieve the rare feet of winning all possible national titles.
In 2011 He won the Asian Billiards Champion and become the first player to clinch both the Billiards & Snooker Asian titles as in 2004 he won the Asian Snooker Championship.
