“RYAN DAY IS A CLASS ACT AND A CLASS PLAYER” - RONNIE O’SULLIVAN
London Masters 2019
Snooker is arguably the world’s most skilled, absorbing and a game of concentration. A game which needs utmost attention is somehow less popular as compared to all other sports in India. A snooker championship can keep you on the edge for as long as the game goes on; London Masters 2019 witnessed one such game where world number 13, Ryan Day, sponsored by RKG Snooker was head to head with an ace and made everyone proud by his outstanding performance. London Masters is a tournament holding up an extreme degree of importance in the world of Snooker where world’s top 16 players compete with extreme enthusiasm for a prize money of GBP 2,00,000 for winner.
The world has witnessed thrilling moment this time on the ongoing London Masters where Ronnie ‘rocket’ O’Sullivan has to bring his best to compete with Ryan Day, who played his heart out in the quarterfinals. Mr. Ravindra Kumar Gupta and Mrs. Kiran Gupta promoter of RKG Group was lucky enough to witness such an enthralling match live from the arena. It was an extremely closely fought battle until of course Ronnie found out the way to crack out through. Day, made an impression worth remembering by giving hard times to Ronnie, the 5 times world champion. Ronnie was in all praise for the healthy competition which Ryan Day managed to give. At one point of time Ryan was leading by 2-1 frames and then after six frames the match was tied at 3-all.
Ronnie stated in an interview, “At one stage I was sitting there thinking if Ryan beats me he could go on and win the whole tournament. He’s a class act and a class player”; coming from an ace like him it is not less than a historical moment for Ryan Day. RKG Snooker was extremely proud to see the way their player played and left no stones unturned in competing with a world champion. The whole team of RKG wishes Ryan Day on this outstanding performance.
