Bengal Premier League returns with 10 teams this year

The 2nd edition of Bengal Premier League today invited all team owners for the auction of players at The Saturday Club, Kolkata. The league is schedule to start from 20th till 26th June 2016.

This year total 10 teams of 6 players each will be contest for the coveted trophy. This year the major change is to have two marquee players in each team instead of one as was in last year.
 
In Category A Marquee players, former World No.3 Manan Chandra and Current World Team Snooker Bronze medallist Brijesh Damani City were purchased by City Knights and Cue Magicians at the highest bidding i.e. Rs.40000/- each. However, in Category B marquee players, Lucky Vatnani of Telangana remained the highest bid player and went to The Rockets at Rs.33000/-.
