FORMAT OF THE MATCHES/TIES
There would be in total of 7 matches in a tie. There would be 4 singles and 3 doubles match in the tie. All matches would of 1 frame only. The sequence of the matches would be as follows:-
- 15 RED SNOOKER: Singles between “A/B” category.
- 15 RED SNOOKER: Singles between “A/B” category. (VICE VERSA)
- 15 RED SNOOKER: Doubles (alternate shots) between “A/B” &“C” vs.“ A/B” &“C”
- 6 RED SNOOKER: Doubles (alternate shots) between “A/B” &“C” vs.“ A/B” &“C”
- 15 RED SNOOKER: Singles – between “C” categories.
- 6 RED SNOOKER: Singles – between “C” categories.
- 15 RED SNOOKER: Doubles – Open for all categories (with handicap).
Handicap:
“A+B” category = +7,
“A/B+C” category =+14,
“C+C” category =+35
For a particular tie, both the teams would be required to give the names of the players before each match in the sequence given as above at least 15 minutes before the schedule to the referee, and as soon as the game finishes the name of the player for the next tie should be given.
In any tie, the Marquee player of A & B category will have to play 2 matches (1 singles & 1 doubles).
Any 1 (One) “C” category player would be allowed to play 2 matches up to game no. 6,but it can be any one singles and one doubles. One “C” player cannot play both singles or both doubles. In the 7th Game any “C” player who has already played 2 matches in the tie cannot be fielded. It is MANDATORY to make all players in a team of 6, to play a minimum of 3 matches during the league stages.
This implies that 5 players will have to be used up to game no.6, in all the matches.
The teams will have the option to nominate any player playing a particular match in a tie and later on it can be changed in the other ties of the league to follow. In case of a 2-way tie with equal number of wins the frame differential would be considered, if still it is a tie then it would be head to head. If it is a 3 way tie with equal number of wins and same frame differential then the teams would be allowed to nominate 1 player for 1 frame of 6 Red Snooker with the other 2 teams.
The top 4 teams would qualify for the final stages. The team qualifying as No 1 and No 2 would play against each other as QUALIFIER NO.1 and the Winner would straight go to the finals. There after the team placed as No.3 and No 4 would play against each other to be known as ELIMINATOR and the winner will play the loser of QUALIFIER NO.1 to be known as QUALIFIER NO.2.The winner of the said QUALIFIER NO. 2 would meet the winner of QUALIFIER NO.1 for the finals.
“15” Reds snooker to be played as per National rules with following exceptions –
- In case of snooker, maximum 2 foul and miss to be allowed.
- In the 3rd foul player will have the option to play or give play again.
- Cue ball cannot be stuck to object ball for snooker.
- In case of Cue ball coming behind object ball even by fluke for snooker foul will be given.
“6” Reds snooker to be played as per National rules with following exceptions –
- In case of snooker, maximum 2 foul and miss to be allowed.
- In the 3rd foul player will have the option to play or give play again .
- Hand ball rule will not apply.
“6 & 15” reds snooker doubles alternate shots.
Both the partners to be play alternately in all scenarios (even in play again condition)
However in case of re spotted Black any one can start.
Team can ask the referee or the opponent team for sequence of play. There will be no foul in case sequence has been suggested by opponent team or match referee. However if a team makes a mistake in sequence on its own without confirming from the referee or the opponent team it will be a foul shot.
In case of snooker, maximum 2 foul and miss to be allowed.
In the 3rd foul player will have the option to play or give play again.

In case of Cue ball coming behind object ball even by fluke for snooker foul will be given.
