RKG Snooker Champs sealed its first Victory in the first match of Bengal Snooker League.

2nd edition of Bengal Snooker League gets underway to a rousing start. Debutant RKG Snooker Champs wriggle out with City Knights in their opening encounter despite its Marquee A player Sourav Kothari losing its first match narrowly.

Sourav could not get going as the balls did not roll in his favour. Himanshu pounced upon him to emerge victorious by 61-49 in 15 Red singles match. However, Bengal State Champion Manish Jain restored parity for RKG Snooker Champs with a flowing display of his potting abilities in 15 red singles.

In 15 Red Doubles match Manish Jain partnering with Benay Agarwal once again showed his class to beat experience duo of Manan Chandra and Rajesh Tulsian by 69-40. In 6 Red Doubles RKG Snooker Champs experienced player Sourav Kothari and Abishek overcame the pair of Himanshu Jain and Ravi by 44- 29. In local’s match of 15 Red Single contest Benay lost  to Rajesh Tulsian by 58-65 in a very close encounter. In other local match of 6 Red Singles Saif thrashed Rohan by 43-9 to keep the issue  beyond doubt . Though Anil Poddar and Sourabh lost to Himanshu Jain and Manan Chandra by 29-85 in a non consequential match.
